Build to STEAM Classroom, 1233 164th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98087, USA

About the event

One hour, one off class for students in grades 4-8

This is a sample of how we use LEGO Robotics SPIKE kits to teach STEAM to students. This lesson is focused on SCIENCE! Students will build a robot that is capable of moving on its own, then they will learn how to calculate initial speed for a decelerating movement from a graph showing the distance traveled over time and use this approximated speed to calculate the average kinetic energy
